Close of Long Point Sesquicentennial—Our First 150 years Celebration

Celebrating our 150-year anniversary founding of

            Long Point, Illinois

The Long Point Community Foundation is coordinating the Sesquicentennial Event. The Foundation is a Not-For-Profit Public Charity, fully registered with the Federal Government, the State of Illinois and the Internal Revenue Service, IRC Section 170.


The Village of Long Point Illinois and the Long Point Township in Livingston County Illinois are co-hosting the event. Other group participants are the Lion's Club of Long Point, the Long Point Volunteer Fire Department, the Long Point American Legion and Legion Auxiliary, the Long Point United Methodist Church, and the Long Point Cowboy Church.
